The trek begins at the village of Jagatsukh about 6 kms from Manali. The trek ascends up the valley alongside the Jagatsukh stream. The trek to Deo Tibba Base is a moderate one and is suitable for both beginners as well as seasoned trekkers. It offers excitement and thrill to both.
We pass through the fine high meadows to reach Chikka. The climb up the valley continues until one reaches the large flat pastures at Seri, surrounded by the lesser peaks of the region. The first glimpse of the mighty Deo Tibba can be seen from here. This trek takes you through pristine forests, sweeping meadows, and beautiful high-altitude pastures
Today we start the day by assembling at the Manali main circle (go chakkar) at 9.30 AM post breakfast. We will drive to Jobra from Manali. From here the trek goes through mixed forests of pine, chestnut and maple trees. We will then cross the river to get to the other side and continue our trek to Chikka. It will not take more than 3 hours to reach Chikka. We can also visit the nearby Waterfall while we camp at Chikka for the night.
Overnight in tents.
We start for Serai today after having our breakfast. Today’s trek is going to take about 4-5 hours from Chikka. We cross many waterfalls on the way and view of the Deo Tibba Base throughout the trek. Trek today will be a moderate one.
