Leh, situated at an altitude of 11,500 ft above sea level, requires travelers arriving from Delhi, Chandigarh, Srinagar, or other parts of the world to take time to acclimatize.
On the first day of your Leh Ladakh itinerary, rest is essential to allow your body to adjust to the elevation. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel before embarking on your exciting Ladakh trekking journey.
Morning:
After breakfast, your vehicles will be ready to pick you up from your hotel.
Our first stop will be Alchi Monastery, the oldest monastery in Ladakh.
Next, we will visit Sangam, where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet.
We will also explore Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Hall of Fame.
Afternoon:
We will pause for lunch along the way.
Evening:
In the evening, we will visit Shanti Stupa to enjoy a mesmerizing sunset view.
Afterward, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

We'll begin our journey early, heading to Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La Pass (18,379 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. After capturing some photos at the top, we'll continue our drive, stopping for lunch along the way. Following lunch, you’ll have the option to enjoy exciting activities like ATV rides and zip-lining.
Next, we’ll visit the Diskit Monastery, a peaceful stop that will take about an hour. Just 30 minutes from there lies the Hunder region, renowned for its unique cold desert and stunning sand dunes.
After checking into your hotel or camp, we’ll enjoy tea before heading to the sand dunes, where you can partake in adventure activities such as archery and camel or horse rides. Dinner will be served back at the hotel, followed by a restful night.

After an early breakfast, we'll drive to Turtuk Valley, the last Indian village near the international border. This charming village is home to the Balti tribe, known for their rich cultural heritage. We'll visit the Balti Museum (if open) and have the opportunity to interact with the locals. A highlight will be stopping at a small eatery run by the Balti women's self-help group to sample authentic Balti dishes.
Next, we'll head to Thang village for a visit to the Indo-Pak border viewpoint.
Following this, we’ll return to Hunder, where you can choose to enjoy an optional cultural show. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Drive: 240 Kms
Time: 6-7 Hours
Altitude: 13,862 ft
After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on a 240 km journey to Pangong Tso, a drive of about 6-7 hours via Shyok Village.
Pangong Tso, one of the most iconic spots in Ladakh, stretches 134 km in length and about 5 km in width, with one-third of the lake lying within Indian territory. Once we arrive, we’ll spend time soaking in the stunning beauty of the lake and capture memorable photos at the famous 3 Idiots movie shooting site.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at the hotel/camp, where we’ll also spend the night.

Altitude : 11,500 ft
After breakfast, we'll begin our journey back to Leh, aiming to arrive by early afternoon. En route, we'll visit the renowned Hemis Monastery, known for its spiritual significance and beautiful architecture, as well as the famous 3 Idiots school featured in the movie.
Upon reaching Leh, the evening is yours to unwind. You can explore the vibrant local markets and visit nearby cafes offering a variety of delicious cuisines for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
