The Beas Kund Trek is an ideal adventure for those seeking a short but stunning trek in the Himalayas. Starting from the vibrant town of Manali, this trek takes you through lush green meadows, alongside the bubbling Beas River, and up to the serene Beas Kund, the source of the mighty river. With breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and glaciers, this trek is perfect for beginners. It’s a journey through some of Himachal Pradesh’s most beautiful landscapes, providing a great introduction to the world of trekking.
We start our journey in Manali, drive to Solang Valley, and trek along the Beas River to the scenic Dhundi Village. From there, we continue to Bakarthach and set up camp, surrounded by stunning views. Overnight camping at Bakarthach.
After an early breakfast, we begin the challenging trek to the sacred Beas Kund, enjoying stunning views of peaks like Shitidhar, Ladakhi, and Friendship Peak. After taking in the serene beauty of the high-altitude lake, we return to Bakarthach for overnight camping.
We enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning our descent back to Dhundi Village. The trek back allows us to savor the stunning landscapes one last time. Once in Dhundi, we board our vehicle and drive back to Manali, where our journey concludes.
