Your adventure begins in Guwahati, Assam, where you’ll embark on a pilgrimage tour visiting some of the city’s most revered sacred sites. From there, the journey takes you to Shillong, with a scenic stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, one of the region’s most beautiful lakes.
Next, you’ll explore Cherrapunji, the second wettest place on Earth, and visit the charming village of Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village. The tour concludes in Dawki, home to the pristine Umngot River, a hidden gem of Meghalaya with crystal-clear waters.

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel (Taj Vivanta or similar).
After checking in and freshening up, visit Kamakhya Temple (30-minute visit). If time permits, also visit Gandhi Mandap (open 10am-6pm).
In the evening, you can relax and explore Fancy Bazaar or Paltan Bazaar. For dinner, try traditional Assamese food at Khorikaa restaurant before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, take a ferry to Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island, the world’s smallest inhabited island.
After your visit, return to check out and drive toward Shillong, stopping along the way at Umiam Lake, a beautiful man-made lake.
Spend the night at your hotel in Shillong.
After an early breakfast, drive to Laitlum Canyons (about 45 minutes from Shillong). Next, visit Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park (also known as Phan Nonglait Park).
After lunch (on your own), head to the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians (or Laithumkhrah Church). If time allows, visit Shillong Peak and the viewpoint, as well as Elephant Falls and the Don Bosco Museum.
In the evening, drive past the Grand Madina Masjid in Laban, Shillong, which is India’s only glass mosque, located a short distance from Police Bazaar.

After breakfast, head towards Cherrapunjee. Along the way, stop at Dwan Sing Syiem Bridge and Viewpoint, followed by a visit to Dainthelen Falls.
For lunch, you can enjoy a meal at Orange Roots in Sohra, Cherrapunjee—recommended for their thali.
After lunch, visit the stunning Seven Sister Falls and explore the Mawsmai Caves, natural limestone caves located about 4 km from Cherrapunjee (approx. 1 hour for the visit).

After breakfast, visit the Living Root Bridge in Riwai, located 8 km from Mawlynnong. From the Riwai car park, it’s a 15-minute trek down 100 steps to the bridge.
Next, head to Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore this remarkable village before making your way to the Dawki River, where you can enjoy a boat ride on its crystal-clear waters near the Indo-Bangladesh border. The experience feels like floating on a glass surface!
After the boat ride, drive to Shillong (approximately 3 hours).
