After arrival at Almaty International Airport, the largest airport in Kazakhstan, our representative will meet you at the exit and transfer to your hotel. After settling down and resting a bit, we shall start our exploration. First on schedule is a visit to Kok Tobe Hill, this scenic spot is the highest viewpoint of the city, as you ascend, enjoy panoramic views of Almaty and the surrounding mountains. At the top, take a stroll around Kok Tobe Park, where you'll find art installations, souvenir shops and a secluded recreational area along with a statue of The Beatles, an unusual but popular attraction here.Â
Enjoy dinner with views of the city at a mountaintop restaurant before returning to your hotel for a well deserved rest.
The tour begins at the Republic Square, a hub of excellence, culture and history. You can stroll around, attend cultural fests and admire the Independence Monument, which is a tribute to Kazakhstan’s independence. Head out for a relaxing trip to Shymbulak Ski Resort, located in the Tian Shan mountains, around 25 kilometres from Almaty. The drive offers stunning scenery as you head toward one of Central Asia's premier winter sports destinations.Â
If you visit during winter, one can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing down the slopes, while summer visitors can take in mountain hikes and cherish the panoramic views by clicking pictures . Relax over lunch at one of the cafes or restaurants down the corner, before returning to Almaty for a relaxed evening stay.
Spend your final day soaking in Almaty's artistic cultural scene. Visit the Kasteev State Museum of Arts, home to a remarkable collection of Kazakh and Russian art, including traditional crafts, paintings and sculptures that reflect Kazakhstan’s diverse heritage.
