You shall board an early morning flight (VJ972) from Delhi, departing at 00:05 AM, and arrive in Hanoi at 05:35 AM. Upon your arrival, our guide will welcome you and you will be transferred to the hotel, where the check-in processes will take place. Settle down in your room and it's time for an early breakfast.
After relaxing for a while, in the afternoon, we shall visit the famous Hanoi Train Street, a unique attraction that has gained popularity in recent years and is now a tourist spot.
Following this, we shall take a 30-minute ride in an electric cab to explore the Hanoi Old Quarters, a lively neighborhood which is spread 100 hectares just north of the central Hoan Kiem Lake. The Old Quarters consists of 36 streets, each named after the type of goods historically sold there, like silk, paper, silver, and cotton. It is not only a cultural hub of the capital, but also a piece of history present till date.
In the evening, we will experience Vietnam's renowned water puppet show, a 45-minute traditional performance that sensationally illustrates Vietnamese rural life and is inspired by fairy tales. Afterwards,we will visit Mega Grand World for a leisure walk,click photos, and indulge in activities, or shop at the mall inside the complex. We put an end to the day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant before returning for the night stay at the hotel.
After a much-needed rest, it's an early morning, around 8:30 AM, our guide will pick you up for a drive to Halong, which is located 165 km and is a scenic 2-hour drive from Hanoi. By noon, we will arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor and soon be transported to the main boat via a tender. A warm welcome awaits on board the Verdure Lotus Cruise, where we will be greeted by a welcome drink, a cruise briefing, and a safety guide, followed by check-in to your cabin.
As the cruise sets sail through the magnificent Halong Bay, enjoy a fabulous lunch with enchanting views. The adventure kicks off with a visit to Tra Bau, a unique fishing village, which was the filming location for Kong: Skull Island in Quang Ninh. Go on a kayaking experience to explore this secluded area.
After floating adrift for a while, it's time to relax on the sundeck and witness a magical sunset over Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy a "Sunset Party" during Happy Hour, followed by a cooking demonstration, where we can learn more about the traditional Vietnamese cuisine. After a delicious meal, we can delve into interactive activities with other members on board, such as squid fishing, enjoying drinks at the bar, watching movies, and indulging in spa therapy while making new connections.
Overnight stay on the Verdure Lotus 4-star cruise in a deluxe balcony cabin is exactly what you deserve after a busy day.
Start your day with Tai Chi, to relieve stress on the sundeck as you admire the stunning sunrise. Enjoy the views while sipping tea or coffee, followed by a light breakfast in the peaceful surroundings. As noon approaches, we will be visiting the Dark and Light Cave. These extraordinary caverns are beyond fascinating. We can explore the whole area on kayaks or bamboo boats, or simply relax in the cool breeze and clear blue waters.
Once we land in Cam Thanh, we will head straight to visit the famous coconut forest. It is a 3km route that covers Hoai, Thu Bon, and De Vong rivers. Tourists can hop on bamboo boats and challenge for a fun race through the forest.
We will also learn and witness the making of unique items like hats, glasses, and watches from coconut leaves. There will be a live performance, where the local artisans perform their traditional “swing back and forth” art, accompanied by music and song.
After this, we will visit Hoi An Market, the Hoi An Museum, and the town’s renowned ancient houses, which reflect a blend of architectural excellence and influences from China, Japan, and France. We will go on a lantern boat ride on the river and call it a day.
After this mind-blowing experience, we will return back to our cabin and relax for a while. Our cruise expedition ends with this, so we shall pack up your belongings, and check out. As we sail back to the harbor, indulge in a delightful brunch. By 11:30 AM, we will disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and return to Hanoi.
In the evening, arrangements for dinner and overnight stay will be made in Hanoi.
After breakfast, our guide will pick us up, and we will head down to Ba Na Hill, where you can witness the UNESCO record-setting cable car system. From a bird's eye view, we will soar over the beautiful Mo Stream and catch a glimpse of Toc Tien Waterfall on the way and ultimately reach the famous Hand of the Gods, which is a mind-blowing piece of architecture and makes you wonder if it's even real. It supports the Golden Bridge and from the top, it kind of looks like the bridge is held by palms.
We will also be touring “Le Jardin Zone", which is a flower garden, influenced by French architecture. Just a few steps ahead, we will come across “Linh Ung Pagoda”, where the 27-metre Buddha statue stands unfazed. Then, we will continue our tour by visiting Nui Chua Peak, which is said to be the rooftop of Danang City, for more incredible views. After descending, we shall visit the Fantasy Park, one of Asia’s modern indoor game centers to elevate the thrill and fun.
After a challenging session competing with each other, our day will be concluded, we will take the cable car back down and return to our hotel in Danang for the night.
After an appetising breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and our guide will transfer us to the airport where our next flight (VJ625) is from Danang at 09:10 AM, arriving in Saigon. We will reach before 11 AM and Upon arrival, our first visit of the day is at the Reunification Palace, also known as "Independence Palace”, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace.
After a brief historical tour, we move on to the spiritual excursion, at Ho Chi Minh Notre-Dame Basilica, a stunning neo-Roman cathedral built by the French between 1860- 1880. The materials for the entire construction are said to be imported from Marseilles.
After seeking blessings, we can explore the vibrant outlets for shopping at the famous Ben Thanh Market before heading to your hotel in Saigon for an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, we bid farewell to Saigon and set off to our next destination, My Tho, which is aquaint town on the banks of the Mekong River. After reaching, we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a holy temple and a religious site built in the late 19th century.
We will then board a sampan to cruise down the river, passing an archipelago of islands, namely the Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, and the Tortoise Island.
We will depart for the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Upon arrival, there will be a brief introduction, followed by an introductory video explaining how the tunnels were built and how it helped people survive under the harsh conditions during the war. You’ll explore the maze-like tunnels, hidden doors, vicious traps and various war-related artefacts accumulated over the years.
Afterward we will enjoy special tea and cassava, traditional guerrilla food for snacks. There will also be an opportunity to try out your shooting skills in the shooting range, for an additional fee.
After lunch, we will be escorted to the airport where our flight (VJ895) awaits, and we shall depart around 7 Pm and are expected to reach home by 8;50 PM.
We will get down at the Unicorn Island, and stroll through the captivating orchards and relish on tropical fruits while listening to folk music performed by locals. We will cruise through in a hand-rowed sampan ride through the scenic Thoi Son canal.
On the way, we will visit a honeybee farm and grab a sample of honey tea and coconut candy. We might also have the time to cycle around Tan Thach village to meet local villagers or relax in a hammock.
After another successful day, we will advance to Saigon for dinner at an Indian restaurant and another overnight stay in the hotel.
